A dialogue session under the banner of "Enforcing the Taif Agreement"

15 associations of the civil society organizations held a dialogue session on Friday under the banner of "Enforcing the Taif Agreement".

Information Minister Adnan Mansour attended the meeting on behalf of the three top officials.

During the session, Former Minister Bahij Tabbara stated that the organizations are gathered under the banner of "coexistence" and the "Taif Agreement".

For his part, Former MP Edmond Rizk who participated in drafting the Taif Agreement, said that this document is not "perfect and not a purpose".

"It is a consensual form that was created under 'impossible circumstances' with international and Arab support to preserve the only diverse state in the Middle East", he added.
