Diab says FBI found Beirut blast was caused by 500 tonnes of ammonium nitrate

Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab said on Tuesday that the report issued by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation FBI estimated the amount of ammonium nitrate that exploded inside the Beirut port on August 4 at 500 tonnes, according to AFP.

 

"Where did the other 2,200 tonnes go?" Diab asked during a briefing with reporters according to the agency.
