Calm prevails over Altleil after fuel tank explosion, protests-[VIDEO]

Calm prevailed on Monday in the Akkar town of Altleil after a day of protests following the explosion of a fuel tank early on Sunday.

 

The Lebanese army and the Intelligence branch are investigating the incident, while the injured who are being treated in hospitals are being heard for their testimonies.

 

This as head of Altleil municipality told LBCI that coexistence is the foundation of Lebanon.

 

He also revealed that a meeting between the civil and religious dignitaries of the region will be held today at the municipality.

 

At least 27 people were killed and 79 injured when a fuel tank exploded in northern Lebanon early on Sunday.
