Macron’s diplomatic advisor Lechevallier tours Lebanese officials
Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil met on Friday with diplomatic advisor to France's President Emmanuel Macron Aurelien Lechevallier and First chancellor of the French embassy in Beirut Salina Cataluna.

Discussions reportedly touched the recent local and regional developments, the implementation of Cedre Conference's requirements and the Budget’s approval.

Talks also tackled the negotiations about the land and sea border demarcation in the region and the tensions between Iran and the US.

Later in the day, Lechevallier held talks with Energy Minister Nada Boustani at the ministry.

This as sources told LBCI that Lechevallier voiced relief to the approval of the electricity plan at the Lebanese Parliament.

The French envoy then met with Prime Minister Saad Hariri with talks focusing on the latest local and regional developments, as well as the bilateral relations.
