Employing Lebanese citizens at restaurants and hotels will no longer be optional

The job applications received by the union of syndicates of restaurants and hotels through the website have reached around 18000 applications.

The administrations of restaurants and hotels will be forced to replace the foreign workers with Lebanese citizens within a one month, in implementation of the plan set by the Labor Ministry and according to the Lebanese law.

The commitment of the owners of restaurants and hotels to employ Lebanese youths will not be optional anymore and few weeks remain before the inspection tours begin, with the support of the security forces.
