Hassan meets with senior World Bank official over vaccination plan

Caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hassan held on Thursday a meeting with World Bank's regional director Saroj Kumar Jha to assess the cooperation in terms of the vaccination campaign.

Following the meeting, Hassan noted that the firm and continuous cooperation with the World Bank “is a guarantee for the Ministry of Health to achieve the strategy of the national vaccination plan.”

For his part, Kumar Jha noted that work is being done with the Ministry of Health to secure technical and financial support to reach “an appropriate vaccination campaign plan and to secure vaccines for the country through financial support."
