Pakradouni to LBCI: Assad profited from Russian stance

Former Minister Karim Pakradouni said on Sunday that a new US-Russian plan for the Middle East is being prepared, stressing that at the end of the case, some will lose and others will win. He noted that the Russian President Vladimir Putin will be the winner and that the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad profited from the Russian stance, pointing out that the United States has achieved its goal without engaging in a war.

In a statement to LBCI ‘s Nharkom Said, Pakradouni said that the US took into consideration the forces that would have stood against it in case of a military strike, then chose the peaceful solution, explaining that Putin entered the American press and affected the US’ public opinion.
