Civil society activists file complaint against “al-Joumhouriya” newspaper
Civil society activists, Khattar Tarabay, Marwan Maalouf, Imad Bazzi, Nizar Ghanem and Assaad Thebian, filed on Monday a complaint before the Court of Publications against “al-Joumhouriya” newspaper, its editor-in-chief Tarek Tarchichi and journalist Alain Sarkis on the backdrop of an article written by the latter concerning the civil society movements that were held during the summer.

The activists said that Sarkis claimed in his article that they receive instructions from foreign embassies and work for foreign intelligence services, in particular the CIA.
