REPORT: Speaker Berri: We are all required to bolster our internal stability

Speaker Nabih Berri said on Wednesday that bolstering the internal stability and fortifying the country is required given the regional challenges.

 

Berri’s comments were made during his weekly meeting with lawmakers at his residence in Ain al-Tineh, whereby he called for the reactivation of the work of the state’s institutions.

 

Lebanon has been without a president since the former president Michel Sleiman’s mandate ended in May 2014 without the election of a successor.
