Maronite bishops call on political factions to work for Lebanon’s benefit

Maronite Bishops said on Wednesday that the National pact is at the basis of Lebanon’s existence, reiterating their call on all Lebanese factions to work for the benefit of the Lebanese nation.

Following their periodic meeting under the chairmanship of Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai, the bishops said the spread of terror should urge everyone to protect Lebanon, asking all deputies to bear their responsibilities and speed up the formation of the cabinet in order to prepare for the upcoming presidential elections.
