Mufti Qabbani in Shebaa: LAF only institution to guarantee Lebanon’s unity

Mufti of the Lebanese Republic Sheikh Muhammed Rashid Qabbani said that the Lebanese military is the only institution that guarantees Lebanon’s unity, calling on all parties to stand by the commanders, the Presidency and the constitutional institutions.

“The Taef agreement’s implementation should be completed”, Mufti Qabbani said live from Shebaa, calling upon the cabinet to fulfill its commitments towards the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) through its continued funding.

Qabbani arrived Friday morning to the town of Marjayoun in a military helicopter. He was received by Marjayoun's Orthodox Bishop Elias Kfoury as well as several religious and political leaders and large crowds.
