Aoun, Hariri, Hezbollah and Jumblatt condemn Barcelona attack
President Michel Aoun Friday cabled on Friday the King of Spain and the Spanish prime minister and conveyed his condolences over Thursday’s terrorist attack in Barcelona.

A tweet from the official Twitter account of the Lebanese presidency condemned the attack – which left 13 dead and over 100 injured.

Also, Prime Minister Saad Hariri condemned the attack, voicing full support to the Spanish people.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah also issued a statement in which it condemned the “horrible crime committed by the Islamic State in Spain,” and extended condolences to the families of the victims.

For his part, Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt also condemned the attack in a statement posted to Twitter.

“No to the wave of hatred, death and darkness that swept throughout the world yesterday in Barcelona. This ideology will not pass by us, terrorism will not pass by us no matter the price,” Jumblatt said.
