The votes of North Lebanon’s 1st constituency were re-counting at the governmental Serail of Halba and the new results revealed that 5 candidates from the Future Movement’s list won: Tareq al-Merehbi, Walid al-Baarini and Mohammad Sleiman for the three Sunni seats, MP Hady Hbeish for the Maronite seat and Lebanese Forces candidate Wehbe Qaticha for one of the two Orthodox seats.

 

The list supported by the Free Patriotic Movement won two seats: FPM candidate Assaad Dargham for the second Orthodox seat and former MP Mustafa Ali Hussein for the Alawite seat.
