Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian expressed regret over the malicious attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, which “aim at undermining its wise and rational policy led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, the courageous in his decisions that aim to protect the Kingdom of the Two Holy Mosques from any security or political shake-up, and to spread the culture of moderation, religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence between religions, as well as combating corruption."
"The campaign of political extortion against the Kingdom is a provocation to more than a billion Muslims. The role of the Kingdom in spreading the culture of moderation, fighting extremism, cooperating with countries of the world in the fight against terrorism and thwarting operations against Western countries, has received the appreciation of the civilized world,” the Mufti stated.
He also added that the peoples of the Arab and Islamic world will stand by Saudi Arabia against such campaigns, hoping that God will protect Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people.
