MP Jihad al-Samad said that President Michel Aoun has the right to send a letter to the Parliament according to the constitution.
“Will Speaker Nabih Berri call on the parliament to convene and discuss a subject that will cause a sharp split?” he asked.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, al-Samad said that he does not favor resolving a certain issue with a bigger one, adding that PM-designate Saad Hariri should not agree that the “obstructing third in the cabinet be given to one political group.
He also stated that the behavior of some parties turns the crisis from a cabinet crisis, into a ruling crisis.
