Prime Minister Saad Hariri hoped that the state budget draft law will be referred to the Parliament at the beginning of the upcoming week, noting that new reforms must be introduced to reduce the deficit, address the public debt and to end corruption and waste.
During an Iftar on Sunday evening, Hariri emphasized that insulting any Arab state is an insult to Lebanon, noting that insisting on violating the disassociation policy harms Lebanon’s interests and the interests of the Lebanese people in Arab states.
Commenting on Beshsra al-Asmar statement about Patriarch Sfeir, Hariri said: “I felt insulted and ashamed knowing that there people who think this way.”
