Nadim Gemayel meets Denis Pietton, discuss Lebanon and Middle East

Mp Nadim Gemayel met with the Director of the Office of the French Foreign Minister, Ambassador Denis Pietton in the presence of a number of French foreign Ministry officials. They reportedly discussed the Middle East, particularly the situation in Lebanon.            

After the meeting, Gemayel said that Hezbollah “is no longer a Lebanese party, but has instead turned into one of Jihadism in defense of the Syrian regime.”             
Earlier Gemayel cast doubts on holding elections on time since “outbids on electoral laws were being carried out in an inappropriate atmosphere."          

Earlier, speaking during an honorary ceremony the Kataeb party held in Sweden, Gemayel said the Syrian dictatorship was using the Christian card to protect itself since the rights and freedoms of Christians in Syria were unavailable.                 

"March 14, with its Lebanese Forces and Kataeb and Future Movement's components, shall win the 2013 elections," Gemayel asserted.
