Kordahi meets Turkish Ambassador, discuss means of cooperation

Information Minister George Kordahi looked with Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Barış Ulusoy, on Tuesday, into the bilateral relations.

Ulusoy noted that “first and foremost, the purpose of this visit, apart from congratulating Minister Kordahi on the formation of the government and wishing it success, is to look into ways of cooperation between the Turkish government and the Ministry of Information in Lebanon, and to keep contacts open in order to follow up on today’s discussion, while waiting for projects or plans from the Lebanese side.”

Ulusoy stressed that "Turkey is closely following the current situation in the country, including the events of last Thursday."

“Turkey plays a positive role towards the Lebanese state and people in terms of overcoming the economic crises they are going through,” he concluded.
