Crowd of supporters welcomes President Aoun as he arrives at his residence-[VIDEO]

After leaving Baabda Palace, President Michel Aoun arrived on Sunday at his residence in Rabieh, where crowds gathered to welcome him.

He was received with flowers, roses and rice, amid cheers in support of him, and under strict security measures in the vicinity of the residence.

It is noteworthy that President Aoun left the Presidential Palace a day before his mandate expires.

However, before leaving the presidential palace, Aoun announced the signing of a decree declaring Prime Minister Najib Mikati's cabinet resigned.
