Josiane Rahme joins LBCI News bulletin team

Josiane Rahme was confident that the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International (LBCI) would call to inform her that she has been chosen among hundreds of young women who attended the casting call during that week in August.

Therefore, the phone call was ordinary, expected.

Josiane Rahme, from Bcharre, majored in journalism at the Lebanese University. She worked at “Masaya” TV channel as a reporter and host for a social/entertainment program. Months after her selection, she is now getting ready to present the LBCI evening news bulletin. Following extensive training sessions, she says she has made dramatic progress in enunciation, Arabic diacritics and camera presence.

When we asked Josiane how she feels about presenting the evening news bulletin, she responded, “I feel confident and proud”, with a fearless smile.
