REPORT: LF challenges naturalization decree

Lebanese Forces MP Georges Okais said on Wednesday that he submitted an appeal of the naturalization decree before the Shura Council on behalf of the Lebanese Forces party and its parliamentary bloc.

 

“The decree includes violations and violates the Lebanese identity,” he added.

 

He also vowed to revoke the entire decree, not only amending it.

 

“The nationality must not be granted as a gift. It must be granted as per the law,” he stressed.
