Macron to meet with representatives of political powers after electoral setback
The French presidency announced on Monday that President Emmanuel Macron will meet with representatives of the main political powers in the new National Assembly on Tuesday and Wednesday to devise a strategy in favor of the French after his party failed to obtain an absolute majority in the legislative elections.
 
"As a guarantor of institutions, the president of the republic is determined to work for the benefit of French citizens," an Elysee official said.
