REPORT: Organ donation: Where do the Lebanese people and religion stand?

The Lebanese people still perceive the issue of organ donation as a sensitive matter, as the culture of donating one’s organs has not yet become spread among the wide population in the country.

 

In this context, awareness campaigns are being launched to educate the people on this matter and encourage a wider number the citizens to become organ donors.

 

The Church encourages the process of donating organs, seeing in it an ethical value that allows the treatment and healing of many patients.
