On reconciliation day, Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil was at Baabda palace but did not participate in the meeting.
Some said he was not invited to attend, others said that he boycotted the meeting.
Bassil was also absent from the cabinet session held a day later, during which he tweeted saying that he will be returning to “al-Jabal” soon.
