MP Aoun says officials should not disregard oil drilling off Lebanese shores

Change and Reform Bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said on Tuesday that the dossier of oil drilling off Lebanon's shores has become complicated; however, stressed that "it is unacceptable to disregard it since legislators assured that the cabinet has the ability to convene and take an appropriate decision in this regard."

Following the bloc's weekly meeting, MP Aoun said that Lebanese officials should seek a final solution for the issue of the Syrian refugees, adding that the rising influx of Syrian refugees into Lebanon is systematic rather than being related to the security situation.

On another note, MP Aoun denied knowledge of any US or Syrian endeavors to form a new cabinet.
