Palestinian refugees stage sit-in in Ain al-Helweh camp to protest against measures taken against them

A sit-in was staged Thursday in Ain al-Helweh refugee camp, upon the call of the Palestinian refugees who fled Syria and are currently residing in Lebanon, to protest against the measures taken by the Lebanese Security Forces to arrest a number of Palestinian refugees due to the expiration of their residence permits.

The protesters called on the Lebanese authorities to look into their situation and find solutions for the numerous issues that continue to threaten their livelihood.
