Aoun: Those calling for withdrawal of LAF should have their tongues pulled out of their heads

Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said that no one can talk about the LAF or the necessity for its commander to resign.

Following his bloc’s weekly meeting on Tuesday, Aoun called on the LAF to intensify its deployment in order to prevent wandering gunmen and control the borders. “Those who are calling for withdrawal of LAF should have their tongues pulled out of their heads.”

Aoun said that the large number of Syrians at the border proves that they are not all refugees.

On the message of Syria’s envoy to the U.N. Bashar el-Jaafari, Aoun said “He is not lying, especially when he talked about Tripoli; we all saw what happened there”.
