LAF Commander heads to USA on official visit

Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Major General Joseph Aoun left on Saturday Beirut heading to the United States of America on a four-day official visit.

The visit comes upon the invitation of the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff General Joseph Dunford.

During his stay, Aoun is scheduled to meet several military and civilian officials to discuss ways to boost cooperation relations between both armies.
