Bassil: Strong Lebanon bloc inked bill to disclose bank account activities

Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil said on Thursday that Strong Lebanon bloc inked a bill to disclose bank account activities that aims to amend the powers of the special investigative body.

Bassil’s comments were made during a press conference whereby he said that the bill does not contradict with the International standards and will be submitted to the Parliament.

“Its importance is that when passed, all people, without exception, will be under scrutiny," Bassil added.
