Protesters staged on Saturday evening a series of demonstrations outside the residences of deputies in the northern city of Tripoli, including MP Sami Fatfat, MP Faisal Karami, MP Najib Mikati, former MP Mesbah al-Ahdab and Mufti of Tripoli Malek al-Chaar.
They chanted slogans against the ruling class and roamed the streets on the 52nd day since the “People’s Revolution” broke out.
A clash erupted outside the house of MP Faisal Karami, but the Lebanese army quickly interfered and dispersed the protesters.
