Kuwaiti ambassador says his country will rebuild Beirut wheat silos
Kuwaiti ambassador to Lebanon Abdel Aal al-Qunai said on Saturday that Kuwait will rebuild Beirut’s wheat silos.

Al-Qunai’s comments were made during an interview with Radio Liban station whereby he said that his country “decided that the best and most appropriate way to start with the aid is to rebuild the silos that provide strategic reserves of wheat for Lebanon."

“These silos were initially built in 1969 with a loan from Kuwait. Therefore, we decided to announce the rebuilding of the silos to continue providing strategic stocks of wheat to the Lebanese people," he added.
