LAF Chief kicks off official visit to France

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command announced on Monday on its Twitter account that LAF Commander Major General Joseph Aoun kicked off an official visit to France upon the invitation of French army chief of staff François Lecointre.

Talks will focus on ways to enhance the relationship between the two armies.

The LAF Command also noted that the visit reflects France's desire to stand by the Lebanese army, and comes in response to the needs recently announced by the Lebanese Armed Forces Commander
