Daher to LBCI: Lebanon to have the highest rate of inflation in 2022

MP Michel Daher described on Monday during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show on LBCI the proposal of the Capital Control Law as “a crime,” stressing that “if it is approved, the disaster will fall on depositors.”

 

Daher pointed out that “the current law formula is a theft of depositors and gives clearance to banks and state,” explaining that “its approval will lead to the liberalization of the mandatory reserve, as well as to further LBP normalization.”

 

“If this continues, Lebanon will be the country with the highest inflation rate in 2022,” he highlighted.
