New lawsuit filed against Judge Eid

The state-run National News Agency said on Monday that the lawyers of MPs Ali Hassan Khalil and Ghazi Zouaiter filed a lawsuit before the Court of Cassation against the head of the court’s First Chamber Judge Naji Eid.

 

Eid is looking into a recusal request against lead Beirut port blast investigator Judge Tarek Bitar.

 

The new lawsuit against Judge Eid, the fourth of its kind, will result in Eid's work being suspended.
