Airport customs thwart attempt to smuggle liquid cocaine with female passenger coming from Ghana

Customs officers at the Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport managed, in an operation after a vigorous follow-up of passengers on Tuesday evening, to thwart an attempt to smuggle ten packages of liquid cocaine into whiskey bottles and coconut liquid packages with Lebanese traveler D.A. coming from Ghana.

She was then arrested and handed over the seized items to the competent authorities, based on the indication of the competent judiciary.
