Lebanese soldier killed after sustaining injuries due to Israeli drone strike in Wazzani, South Lebanon

A Lebanese Army soldier was killed Monday by an Israeli drone targeting a motorcycle near a Lebanese Army checkpoint in Wazzani, South Lebanon.

He succumbed to injuries he sustained when an artillery shell fell near the checkpoint.

The Lebanese Army issued a statement confirming that the soldier had been killed by an Israeli drone targeting a motorcycle passing through the Lebanese Army’s Al-Omra-Wazzani checkpoint.
