Israeli army issues evacuation warning for residents south of Zahrani River

The Israeli army issued an urgent warning to residents in southern Lebanon located south of the Zahrani River, calling on them to evacuate immediately.

In a statement posted on X by Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee, residents were urged to leave their homes and move north of the Zahrani River, citing ongoing military operations against Hezbollah in the area.

The statement said airstrikes are continuing as the Israeli army operates with significant force in the region, adding that civilians should avoid proximity to Hezbollah members, facilities or military assets, as doing so could put their lives at risk.

It also warned that remaining south of the Zahrani River or moving further south could endanger civilians and their families.
