Israeli army issues renewed evacuation warning for areas south of Zahrani River

The Israeli army has issued an urgent renewed warning to residents in South Lebanon located south of the Zahrani River, urging them to move north.

In a statement on X, Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee said that Hezbollah's activities in the area are forcing the army to carry out intensive military operations, while asserting that it does not intend to target civilians.

The statement noted that airstrikes are ongoing and that military operations in the area remain intense. Residents were urged to leave their homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River to ensure their safety.

The Israeli army also warned that anyone present near Hezbollah fighters, facilities, or military assets could be at risk, adding that remaining south of the river could endanger both individuals and their families.
