Israeli army issues urgent evacuation warning for several areas in South Lebanon

The Israeli army issued an urgent warning to residents in several areas of southern Lebanon, calling on them to evacuate immediately and move north of the Zahrani River.

In a post on X, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the warning specifically applies to residents in the following areas: Maqam al-Nabi Qassem (Qassamiyah camp), Borgholiyeh, Borj Rahhal, Dahr al-Amoud and Chabriha.

Adraee said that Hezbollah’s activities in those areas were forcing the Israeli army to carry out military operations there, adding that the army does not intend to harm civilians.

He urged residents to leave their homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River for their safety.
