Israeli army issues evacuation warning for several South Lebanon villages

The Israeli military issued an urgent warning to residents in parts of South Lebanon, calling on civilians in multiple villages to evacuate immediately.

The warning named the towns of Maifadoun, Choukine, Yohmor, Arnoun, Zawtar El Charqiyeh, Zawtar El Gharbiyeh, and Kfar Tebnit.

In its statement, the army said the warning comes in response to what it described as ceasefire violations by Hezbollah, adding that it would act "with force" against the group.

The military urged residents to leave their homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters away from the specified areas, saying that anyone near Hezbollah fighters, infrastructure, or weapons would be at risk.

It claimed that it does not intend to harm civilians, but stressed that remaining in or near the targeted areas could endanger lives as operations continue.
