Israeli army issues urgent evacuation warning for six villages in South Lebanon

Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee issued an urgent warning to residents of several villages in South Lebanon, calling on them to evacuate their homes immediately.

The warning concerns residents of the villages of Yater, Qlaileh (Tyre district), Kafra (Bint Jbeil district), Jbal El Botm, Majdal Zoun, and Hanniyeh (Tyre district).

Adraee said that what he described as Hezbollah's activities are forcing the Israeli army to act against the group, stressing that the army does not intend to harm civilians.

He warned that anyone staying near members of Hezbollah, its facilities, or its military assets is putting their life at risk, adding that any house used by Hezbollah for military purposes would be subject to attack.

Residents were urged to evacuate immediately and move north of the Litani River to ensure their safety.

The statement also warned that any movement southward could expose civilians to danger.
