Israel launches strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs, civilians urged to evacuate

The Israeli army has launched airstrikes on Hezbollah military infrastructure in the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to a statement by army spokesperson Avichay Adraee.

A high-alert warning was issued to residents in the following neighborhoods: Haret Hreik, Ghobeiry, Laylaki, Hadath, Borj el-Brajneh, Tahouitet el-Ghadir, and Chiyah.

The army said it is continuing its operations against Hezbollah’s military positions across the southern suburbs with increasing intensity.

“The army does not intend to harm civilians,” the statement said, urging residents to evacuate immediately to ensure their safety.
