Israeli military issues urgent evacuation warning for villages in southern Lebanon

The Israeli military issued an urgent warning to residents in the southern Lebanese villages of Maifadoun, Choukine, and Zebdin in the Nabatieh district, calling on civilians to evacuate immediately and move north of the Zahrani River.

The warning said that, in light of what it described as violations of a ceasefire agreement by Hezbollah, the military is compelled to operate against the group “with force,” while stressing that it does not intend to harm civilians.

Residents were urged to leave their homes without delay and avoid areas where Hezbollah members or military infrastructure are present, saying that proximity to such sites could put their lives at risk.
