REPORT: Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, pray for Gaza

The Higher Shiite Islamic Council designated Tuesday the first day of Eid al-Fitr for Shiites.

The Sunnite Dar al-Fatwa announced Monday as the day to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Despite the difference in the timing of Eid al-Fitr between the Sunnites and Shiites, Muslims around the world celebrated Eid al-Fitr holiday and prayed for war torn Gaza.
