First machine designed to recycle hunting cartridges launched in Lebanon

The dream of a group of students from Notre Dame University (NDU) became true, after designing and building a machine to recycle hunting cartridges.

The machine splits the plastic from the metal that form these cartridges, so that each material is recycled separately.

The machine will operate at a waste treatment plant in Fanar and is expected to recycle more than 5 million cartridges collected over the past two years.
