REPORT: Lebanese University’s branch in Bekaa to be located in Zahle

It is finally decided that the Lebanese University branch in Bekaa will be located in Zahle after circulating information about building the branch in Rayak.

Political, social and religious figures have previously expressed their strong rejection to the university dean Dr Adnan Sayyed Hussein and finally it was agreed on inaugurating the branch in Zahle.

It’s been 17 years that the project is being discussed and the duration of accomplishing it remains unknown.

If the Bekaa branch will be open, 15000 students will be allowed to receive education without having to relocate.
