Demonstrations held in Beirut against anti-Islam cartoons
A demonstration was held on Friday in the vicinity of the French embassy in Lebanon to protest insulting cartoons of Prophet Mohammed.
This as some protesters hurled stones towards the anti-riot police who responded by firing tear gas.

This as another rally was held from Beirut’s Corniche al-Mazraa toward the French Embassy after Friday’s prayers amid tight security measures.
