Russian authorities evacuate St. Petersburg airport over bomb threat
                              
Russian police sources said on Friday that some 1,500 people were evacuated from St. Petersburg international airport following a threat of a possible bomb explosion.                  

The Interior Ministry reported that the evacuation operation began early Friday morning after an anonymous person called to warn of explosives at the airport.                    

The Ministry added that all airport facilities are being inspected by police bomb squads with the assistance of trained dogs.                       

All flights have been suspended until further notice.
