REPORT: Lebanon's Health Minister unveils new list of violating restaurants and supermarkets
Lebanon's Health Minister Wael Abou Faour held on Thursday a press conference whereby he unveiled a new list of violating restaurants and supermarkets.

"We expected a spiteful reaction over our battle to put an end to the selling of spoiled foods," Abou Faour said, noting however that "we did not expect the statements that were issued by a number of ministers".

Abou Faour warned Tuesday of unsuitable foodstuffs being sold to the Lebanese public, noting that several food providers have fallen short of meeting the proper health standards.

In Tuesday's press conference, Abou Faour listed violating supermarkets and restaurants across the country, underscoring the types of unfit foods being sold.
