Syria hands over captured fishing vessel to Lebanon
Syrian authorities returned to Lebanon the captured fishing vessel that they held following the Arida incident last Saturday.

The Syrian naval forces shot on Saturday morning Fadi and Khaled Hamad and their nephew Maher in the border village of Arida. The three men were removing their net from Lebanese waters when Syrian naval forces arrested and kidnapped them.

Syria released Saturday night the two fishermen Fadi and Khaled Hamad and handed over the body of Maher at Arida passage, after contacts between the Syrian and Lebanese parties intensified.
